Common Questions About Flyer Printing
What is the difference between paper GSM weights?
GSM means grams per square metre and indicates the weight and thickness of the stock. Lightweight 100 to 150 GSM paper is flexible and suitable for economical letterbox drops. Card stocks from 250 GSM and above feel thicker and are suited to menus, vouchers and premium handouts.
Can you help prepare or design my artwork?
Yes. We can review supplied artwork, check image resolution, confirm bleed and safe margins, or create a complete flyer design for your business.
Should I choose single-sided or double-sided printing?
Single-sided printing is suitable for simple promotions and large letterbox campaigns. Double-sided printing gives you more room for services, prices, contact details and calls to action.
What is the difference between gloss and matt?
Gloss stock has a shinier finish that can make colours appear more vibrant. Matt stock has a smoother, lower-glare finish and is often preferred for professional or premium designs.
What are premium finishes such as Spot UV and lamination?
Lamination adds a protective film across the printed surface. Spot UV adds a glossy finish to selected areas, such as a logo or heading, creating contrast against a matt background.
How quickly will my flyers be ready?
Turnaround depends on the selected stock, quantity and finishing options. Standard flyer orders are generally faster than specialist laminated, foil or die-cut products. We will confirm the expected turnaround before production.
Is delivery included in the calculator price?
Printing and delivery may be shown separately depending on the selected order and delivery location. Any delivery charge will be clearly displayed before payment.
Are there additional artwork or finishing fees?
Standard print-ready artwork does not require design work. Additional charges may apply when artwork needs editing, new design work or specialist finishing. These costs will be shown or confirmed before production begins.
